Charles Hubert Hastings Parry

Eminent English composer and music director at the Royal College of Music, whose sacred compositions significantly influenced Anglican church music. He composed the hymn tune "Repton" and numerous other choral works for worship, blending Romantic musical language with liturgical sensitivity. His works remain central to English cathedral and parish church music.
