George Beverly Shea

Canadian-American baritone soloist and gospel singer who became famous as the featured vocalist for Billy Graham Crusades beginning in 1947. Shea recorded numerous hymn albums and was instrumental in popularizing evangelical hymnody through radio, recordings, and live crusade performances throughout his 60-year career.
