John Goss

John Goss was an eminent English organist and composer who served as organist of St. Paul's Cathedral, London, and created numerous Anglican hymn tunes and choral works. His compositions, including the well-known hymn tune 'Praise, my soul,' are characterised by liturgical propriety and harmonic sophistication.
