John Samuel Bewley Monsell

Irish Anglican clergyman and prolific hymnist who wrote approximately 300 hymn texts emphasizing scriptural theology and liturgical use. His works were widely adopted in Anglican, Methodist, and Evangelical hymnals throughout the 19th century.
