John Stainer

English organist and composer who served as organist at St. Paul's Cathedral, London, and made significant contributions to Victorian church music. He composed numerous hymn tunes and sacred choral works that remain staples of Anglican worship. His works include 'God so loved the world' and the tune 'CRUCIFIXION'.
