John Wyeth

American music publisher and compiler of 'Repository of Sacred Music' (1810), a pioneering collection of American hymn tunes and shape-note music. His publications were instrumental in disseminating evangelical hymn music throughout early American churches. He contributed as both compiler and composer to American sacred music traditions.
