Ray Palmer

American Congregational minister and hymn writer known for his prolific output of hymn texts during the nineteenth century. He was pastor of the Central Congregational Church in Bath, Maine, and contributed numerous hymns to American Protestant hymnals. His most famous hymn, 'My Faith Looks Up to Thee,' became one of the most widely sung American hymns.
