William Bradbury

American composer, music educator, and publisher who created numerous Sunday school hymns and shaped American sacred music pedagogy in the mid-19th century. He founded the Bradbury Piano Forte Manufacturing Company and published influential hymnals including "The Golden Chain" and "Fresh Laurels."
